Preventing Violence in the Workplace

One Day Course

This level 2 qualification is aimed at those aged 16 years and over, working with customers and service users, where there is a slight risk of having to deal with potentially violent or aggressive individuals. 

This qualification is not suitable for those that are likely to have to break away or physically intervene with violent individuals.
The qualification develops understanding of preventing workplace violence, supporting learners to keep themselves and others safe in the workplace.
This new qualification does not involve any physical contact with aggressors and is therefore aimed at those that may need to deal with aggressive individuals but are unlikely to face violence as a significant risk.

·       Company policy
·       Reducing the risk
·       Dealing with confrontational situations
·       Reporting incidents
